Grace Adonizio Grace Adonizio, 180 Rock Roscoe Mulcahy; sisters, Mary Hughestown, died Wednesday at and Jule. home. She was born Dec. 30, 1918, in Pittston Township, daughter of the late Patrick and Elizabeth Keating Mulcahy, and was educated in Pittston Township schools. Mrs.

Adonizio was employed as a library clerk by the Pittston Area School District until her retirement in 1983. She served more than 30 years as a Democratic committeewoman in Hughestown Borough and had been active in many charitable organizations. Mrs. Adonizio was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Hughestown, and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph (Tex) and Surviving are her husband, John daughter, Annarose McNulty, Pittston; son, John WilkesBarre; one granddaughter; sisters, Annarose Joyce and Margaret Mulcahy, Pittston Township; Gertrude Bender, Camp Hill; nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30 from Adonizio Funeral Home 251 William Pittston, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Friends may call Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice St. John, 665 Carey Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.

Thomas J. Zavada Thomas J. Zavada, 321 Sierra Vista Lane, Valley Cottage, N.Y., died July 26 in Mount Siani Hospital, New York City. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, son of the late Stanley J. and Anna Mosser Zavada, and moved to New York at an early age.

Mr. Zavada was a 1963 graduate of Spring Valley High School. He was self-employed as a hair stylist by Studio 43, New York City, and was a member of St. Ann's Church, Nyack, N.Y. Surviving are sisters, Rosemary Carozzoni, Miners Mills; Dr.

Margaret Summitt, Memphis, brother, John, New York City; nieces. Funeral was held July 28 from Hannemann Funeral Home, Nyack, N.Y., with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated Aug. 29 at 7 a.m.

Friends, Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 09. Willard J. Wright Willard J. Wright, 89, of Chase Road, Shavertown, died Thursday at home. He was born in Noxen, son of the late Frank and Eva Cooke Wright, and attended Wyoming County schools.

Mr. Wright resided in Forty Fort, Kingston and for 33 years in Jackson Township. Prior to retiring, he was employed as a painter by the former Miners National Bank, Wilkes-Barre. Mr. Wright was a member of Huntsville United Methodist Church and had served as a trustee and a member of its administrative board.

He was a member of the Kingston Lodge 395 and Jackson Township Fire where he was a trustee. He and his wife, the former Mildred Meeker, celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary last Oct. 1. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, Dale Chase; Willard Dallas; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Robert, Wyckoff, N.J.; sister, Gertrude Griffith, Syracuse, N.Y. Private funeral will be held Monday from Richard H.

Florence May Keller Florence May Hartman Keller, 34, of 245 S. Main WilkesBarre, died Tuesday in Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, Feb. 15, 1958, daughter of Edith Harrison Hartman of WilkesBarre and the late Albert Hartman and resided her entire life in Wilkes-Barre. She and her husband, David, celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary last March 18.

Her son, David died July 30, 1979. Surviving, in addition to her mother and her husband, are brothers, Albert Hartman Kingston; Charles Hartman, Hilldale; sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Lois) Burge Pittston; Mrs. Alva (Charlotte) Stevens, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Leo (Edith) Amos, Kingston; Brenda Hartman, Plymouth; nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from Robert Zofcin Funeral Home, 38 N. Main Shickshinny, with the Rev. Warren Birdsall, pastor, Shickshinny Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Sorber Cemetery, Reyburn.

at in William J. Joyce Sr. Langhorne, formerly of Bear Creek Township, died Wednesday in St. Mary's Hospital, Langhorne. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, son of the late William and Catherine McGraw Joyce, and graduated from Coughlin High School.

Mr. Joyce was employed by Toole's TV, East End WilkesBarre, until his retirement in 1986. He was a life member of Knights of Columbus, Council 302, Wilkes-Barre, and a member of St. Conrad's Society, WilkesBarre. A member of St.

Elizabeth's Church, Bear Creek, Mr. Joyce was past president of its Holy Name Society and a member of its choir. His wife, the former Ann Savitski, died in September 1973. Surviving are sons, William, Langhorne; Patrick, Dallas; daughter, Carol Ann, Edwardsville; four grandchildren. Funeral will be held Saturday at 8:15 from Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S.

Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre; the International Ladies' Garment Workers union. Her husband, Edward died in February 1971; daughter, Helen, in 1938. She was also preceded in death by brother, John O'Donnell, in 1969; sister, Nancy Nallen, in 1989. Margaret Broomfield, formerly of Edwardsville, a guest for 11 years at Valley Crest Nursing Center, Plains Township, died Thursday in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital. She was born in Edwardsville, Sept. 10, 1895, daughter of the late David and Rachel Morgan Pugh, and formerly resided in Kingston. Mrs. Broomfield was a member of Bethesda Congregational Church, Edwardsville.

Her husband, Fred, died in 1969. Surviving are daughter, Ruth Hoover, Kingston; sons, Robert, Ithaca, N.Y.; James, Springville, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; sister, Lottie Williams, Kingston; nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from Jones Funeral Home, 34 Church Edwardsville, with the Rev. Loren Swartz, her pastor, officiating.
