CV West Side Flower Club will celebrate 57th anniversary with dinner dance April 17 West Side Flower Club will celebrate its 57th anniversary with a dinner dance Tuesday, April 17, at 6 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Home, Luzerne. Highlight of the evening will be the presentation of 7 annual awards for life membership, man of the year and a community service award. This year's community service award will be presented to Fanny Rokus, shown, a member of the club more than 10 years. Mrs.

Rokus has been active in community affairs for many years. The past 10 years, she has promoted the special memorial Mass for POW's and MIA in local churches. She has been commended by the Congress for her work with local veterans. Mrs. Rokus is president of the Ladies Auxiliary of St.

Joseph's Post 752, Catholic War Veterans. She has received commendations from the local veterans hospital for her volunteer work with veterans. Mrs. Edna Morelli is general chairman of the dinner. She has selected the following committees: decorations, Mrs.

Mary Domanosky; menu, Mrs. Stephen Poleskie; punch bowl, John Chorba; opening exercises, Mrs. Betty Stash; music, Mrs. Annetta Rees; tickets, Stephen Poleskie. A family-style dinner will be served.

Following dinner, music will be provided for dancing. In its 57th year, the club has a membership of more than 200. New members are invited. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at the Church of Christ Uniting, Kingston. Marriage licenses William D.
