Also recognized were Dr. Evelyn Shah, Exeter Township Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania honored its employees for five, 10, 15 and 20 years of service at its annual meeting recently held at the East Mountain Inn, Wilkes-Barre. Rural Health Corporation provides pediatric, adolescent and adult medical and dental care to nearly 20,000 individuals at health centers in Nuremberg, Freeland, Falls, Edwardsville, Shickshinny and Noxen.

Local class members are urged to attend and assist in bringing the mailing list up to date. Golden Club bus trip Amalgamated Clothing Golden Club will sponsor a bus trip to a dinner and show at Genetti's in Hazleton on Sept. 30. Reservations may be made by calling Irene Piazza at 822-7519. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the Parsons VFW Post Home. Lupas Foundation The Lupas Foundation of America's Northeast Pennsylvania Chapter will hold a support group meeting on Monday, Sept. 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Scranton Community Medical Center's conference room.

All Lupas patients and concerned persons are invited. Vietnam War Vets Veterans of the Vietnam War, Gary B. Davis Memorial Post 2, will meet Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 8 p.m. at VFW Post 3 in Wyoming.

All veterans are welcome. Sight loss support group "Seeing Without a sight, loss support group, will meet Monday, Sept. 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 111 N. Pa.

Ave, Wilkes-Barre. The new discussion group format will be introduced. Labor salute set The Greater Wilkes-Barre Labor Council will be sponsoring a Salute to Labor on Sept. 10, between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., at the Farmers' Market on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre.

The salute will feature vocalist Tom Juravich who is well known for his folk songs in support of the labor movement. A voter registration booth also will be available and prizes will be awarded. Chronic Pain group The American Chronic Pain Association will meet Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m. at the John Heinz Institute, Wilkes-Barre. New members are welcome. Meyers Band bake sale The Meyers High School Marching Band will hold a bake sale on Saturday, Sept.

5, during the Meyers-Dunmore football game. The sale will take place in the school cafeteria. All proceeds will benefit the band. Mountain Post 781 American Legion Mountain Post 781 will meet Monday, Sept. 14, at 8 p.m.
